Official Rules And Regulations of the Support A Child, Win Something Wild Raffle Drawing

Boys & Girls Club (BGC) of Watertown is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.  BGC is dedicated to supporting resources and activities for children through contributions, donations and fundraising events.  BGC is seeking donations for their organization and support of their efforts.

 

OFFICIAL RULES OF THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF WATERTOWN

 

By entering this drawing all participants and winner(s) consent to the use of their names and likeness in publicity related to the drawing and its outcome without compensation and waives any and all claims against the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown, or the Raffle sponsors: Watertown Ford, Sheehan Cycle, Coca-Cola, McDonalds Corporation, or Dacotah Bank. 

 

Donations for ticket entries will begin on June 23, 2010 and will continue until August 26, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.

 

ELIGIBILITY:   Persons must be 18 years of age or older to enter the drawing.   Incomplete or illegible entries, or entries received after commencement of the drawing are not eligible.   This offer is void where prohibited and subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.  

 

PRIZE:   First prize is a 2010 Ford F150 4X4 Supercab 4sp Automatic Automobile (“automobile”) provided by Watertown Ford and Second prize is a 2010 Honda Rancher 4x4 ATV Utility Vehicle (“ATV”) provided by Sheehan Cycle.   Watertown Ford and Sheehan Cycle reserve all rights to provide adequate substitutes (including same automobile or ATV of a different color) for the giveaway if the named automobile or ATV becomes undeliverable.   Watertown Ford authorizes credit of the retail price of the automobile toward a purchase of an alternate vehicle at Watertown Ford.   This credit applies at the Watertown Ford location only.   Neither Watertown Ford nor Sheehan Cycle will provide cash in lieu of the prize.

 

ODDS:   Up to 1,000 tickets shall be sold.   Odds of being selected to receive first or second prize depend on the number of tickets received.   If all 1,000 tickets are sold, the odds of being selected shall be 1/500.  

 

ENTRY DONATION:   Minimum donation of one hundred dollars per entry.  Donations may be tax deductible and deductions may benefit donors differently. 

 

TICKETS:   Tickets may be purchased at; the office of the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown- 1000 Third Avenue NE, Watertown, South Dakota, 57201, Watertown Ford Chrysler- 1600 9th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201, Sheehan Cycle- 2102 9th Avenue Southwest, Watertown, SD 57201 and Dacotah Bank- 1310 9th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201 .  Checks and Money Orders should be made payable to the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown.   All monies must clear for ticket to be valid.  Tickets shall NOT be purchased by mail.    

 

DRAWING:   Drawing will be held on August 26, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at; the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown, 1000 Third Avenue NE, Watertown, South Dakota, 57201. Drawing date is subject to change.  In the event the drawing date is changed, entrants will be notified of date, time and place of drawing at the address or phone number indicated on the ticket stub.  Drawing is open to all ticket holders.  BGC reserves the right to award prize to those whom it determines the winner(s).  All decisions are final.  Winner(s) will be notified by telephone and or US Mail at the information indicated on ticket stub.  Winner must present matching stub and valid identification to claim prize.  Prize must be claimed within 30 days.  If Prize is not claimed within thirty (30) days, another entrant will be selected by random drawing from remaining entries.   Completion of an alternate drawing will foreclose any and all claims of the original winning entrant to the automobile or ATV.   BGC’s decision to hold such alternate drawing is final.   Name of winner(s) or copy of Official Rules may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, postage paid envelope to Boys & Girls Club of Watertown, 1000 Third Avenue NE, Watertown, South Dakota, 57201 or at www.bgcofwatertown.com.  Automobile and ATV may not be the same as color shown in advertising materials.  

 

TAXES:   Winner(s) will be responsible for all applicable taxes (Federal, State and Local) as well as licensing, registration, delivery of prize, and all other requirements related to use of the automobile or ATV.

 

WARRANTY:   The Boys & Girls Club, Watertown Ford, Sheehan Cycle, Dacotah Bank, Coca-Cola, and McDonalds Corporation disclaim any and all responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injury resulting from the automobile or ATV or their operation.   The aforementioned parties make no warranty of any kind regarding the automobile or ATV.

 

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY:   The automobile and ATV each come with a manufacturer’s service warranty.   The truck has a 3 year OR 36 bumper to bumper warranty (whichever comes first) with a 5 year, 60 mile powertrain coverage.   The 4-Wheeler has a manufacture warranty for a one year period.   Terms of the Warranty(ies) can be obtained from Watertown Ford or Sheehan Cycle.   Any and all claims under the manufacturer’s service warranty shall be submitted according to the warranty.   The warranty is non-transferable.   The Boys & Girls Club, Watertown Ford, Sheehan Cycle, Coca-Cola, McDonalds Corporation and Dacotah Bank disclaim any responsibility or liability for claims made pursuant to the manufacturer’s service warranty.

 

DONATIONS:   Donations to Boys & Girls Club of Watertown and this event are non-refundable.  ENTRY DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT, APPROVAL, OR RECOMMENDATION BY THE STATE.  For additional information or confirmation of drawing date contact the Boys & Girls Club at (605) 886-6666.

SUBMISSION:   Submission of a ticket constitutes entrant’s agreement to abide by the terms and conditions of these Official Rules.   Boys & Girls Club of Watertown reserves the right to cancel or modify the drawing in any way, including, without limitation, to modify or amend these rules at any time and from time to time.
