Codington County Teen Court is a diversion program offered mainly to first time offenders ages 10-18, who currently enrolled in an accredited school program. Members of Teen Court (attorneys, jury, baliff, clerks,ect) are trained teenage volunteers and returning defendants. They work to create a legal and binding sentence for the defendant. Teen Court volunteers will be working hand in hand with the following agencies;
Watertown Police Department
Boys and Girls Club of Watertown
Codington County States Attorneys Office
Codington County Sheriffs Office
South Dakota Teen Court Association
Local and Area practicing Attorneys
